HISTORY
St. Agnes Anglican Church was opened in 1903. The main worship space consists of over 2,000 square feet and includes impressive stained glass and woodwork. The contractor for the building was Mr. James White. Mr. White was responsible for many of the major buildings in Carberry, namely three churches and his own unique business and home. His home and business are now owned by the local museum.
St. Agnes has been served by various types of ministries. There has been resident ordained clergy, Church Army Captains, students and lay readers. Clergy resided in MacGregor during the 1950s and 1960s and served St. Paul's in MacGregor, Chrsit Church in Austin and St. Agnes in Carberry. Since the mid-1980's, the Rectors have resided in Carberry and served the three churches from this point.
